Writing Foundations:
Oral-Based

Full Year - 32 week Course

Course Description:

Join other young bright, curious, and advanced thinkers in exploring sentences and parts of speech orally through games and imaginative play. No reading or writing skills required.

We will be using the The Writing Revolution method to guide this skill development. We will play orally with concepts like sentence fragments, appositives, subordinating conjunctions, sentence combining, and sentence expanding.

Note: Learners with other challenges, including dyslexia and dysgraphia, should add on or continue with additional supports that target their specific challenges.

NOTE:

Learners will need a tech set-up that allows them to move around their space while being on camera and mic during class as well as the ability to annotate in Zoom.
