Eliyanah Delicate, M.Ed.
As an expert in program and curriculum development, teaching and administration, Eliyanah Delicate, M.Ed., has been working in education for over 35 years. She is also a 20-year veteran homeschool parent of two profoundly gifted and 2E young adults. One has already graduated from university and the other is just beginning their university journey. In order to bring her unique, engaging and transformative approach to a wider audience, she decided to launch Elex Learning. Elex Learning offers a myriad of eclectic courses from Earth Sciences to the development of the English language.
Laura Morefield
Laura Morefield has been teaching homeschoolers for sixteen years, focusing on college-bound high school students for the past seven years. She has three children, two in college after homeschooling K-12, and one still homeschooling high school.
Ms. Morefield’s professional and educational background is in finance and economics, and she served as a university Adjunct Professor of Finance before becoming a full-time homeschooling teacher. She has taught hundreds of students at all levels and in many different subjects (preschool-graduate school) for more than twenty years.
In her research and application of educational methods and practices, Ms. Morefield has found that teaching with a flipped classroom approach can serve the needs of many students, allowing for diversification of content as well as delivery, and individualized management of learning expectations.
She lives outside of Richmond, Virginia, USA with her husband and three children (when the two oldest are home from college). Her hobbies include reading, gardening, sewing, and puzzles of all kinds. She also thoroughly enjoys learning and tries to learn something new every day.
Kendra Rogers, Ph.D.
Kendra Rogers is a seasoned homeschool parent who has graduated 1 student and has another in college with 2 more on their heels. She has a doctoral degree in psychology and has taught college level courses for several years after spending 15+ years teaching and tutoring in every subject imaginable. From tutoring to a special needs barn to diverse college students, Kendra has taught in every modality across every subject, to every learning strength and support need!
