Basics of Academic Writing 2

ages 12-15 (gr.7-10)

Course Description:

This class is designed to support and enhance the writing of academic sentence and paragraph structures. We will be using the Hochman Method, as detailed in The Writing Revolution, to continue exploring paragraph writing along with strong sentences.

Day: Monday

Time: 2:30pm-3:30pm ET

Semester 2 Dates: February 7, 2022 – June 20, 2022 (16 weeks – No classes: Feb 21, Apr 18, May 23, and May 30)

Required Homework:

Approximately 1 hour of writing practice per week.

Course Materials:

No materials necessary to purchase.

Digital documents will be emailed throughout the semester and will occasionally need printing.
